Every year the sports that are included in the Olympic list are becoming more and more, and the pictograms, oddly enough, do not always become clearer and better. Nevertheless, pictograms have been used for a long time and no one is going to abandon them, primarily because of their universality and internationality.
Pictograms were first used to represent sports in 1948 in London. All subsequent host countries decided to use this tradition, coming up with a new set of pictograms each time.
