Reading books, participating in thematic events, attending lectures and master classes are all a great way to keep your knowledge up to date.
But what is no less important for a designer is the development of a sense of “beauty”, harmony and intuitive understanding of the principles of font combination.
Especially for designers, we have selected 5 tests that will help you check your eye, remember the principles of photography, learn how to perfectly combine colors and test yourself for knowing Photoshop.
By the way, if you want to have a good time, but these tests have already passed – play games for designers and see 15 services for playing with color.
Eye test
Check with your eye how accurately you feel the geometry of objects and center lines and points. The task is to move the cursor so that:
● complete the construction of the parallelogram,
● find the center of the line segment,
● build a bisector,
● find the center of the triangle and the center of the circle,
● find the convergence point of the rays.
You need to put points three times. The fewer points you get, the better!

Check how well you recognize colors. The task for a limited time is to click on the color wheel on the color that matches the color sample. This test is very useful for photographers and retouchers, especially those who are doing photo color correction.
Simulator for the photographer
The guys from Camerasim made an excellent virtual camera simulator: set the lighting parameters (Lighting), distance to the subject, focal length and all the basic camera settings (shutter speed, aperture, ISO).
After that, all that remains is to press the button and get the finished frame. For complete realism, you can choose between manual and automatic shooting modes, as well as put the camera on a tripod (tripod).
Photoshop puzzle test
Check how well you know Photoshop. Only those who are proficient in all Adobe Photoshop tools will be able to take the test. An excellent test for a designer to remember all the possible tools of the program. The test is free from start to finish, without registration and SMS.
Color perception test
